Exacom lands contract with Army for alert system

Exacom said during the it has landed a contract to deploy its Homeland Security Notification and Deployment System (HANDS) at a U.S. Army base. The company did not disclose the name or location of the base. HANS delivers campus- or enterprise-wide alerts and notifications. Exacom also said it has completed the first phase of a deployment at New York City-area airports operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
