APCO honors storm-battered public-safety communicators

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials this week recognized the work of public safety communications professionals in the southeastern U.S. and the Cayman Islands during the recent storm activity in those areas. They were recognized for their dedication to their jobs even when they, their families and property were at risk. APCO also recognized public-safety agencies that provided support by collecting and distributing money for those affected by the storms’ aftermath. The Montgomery County (Md.)
