Georgia chooses Sprint for wireless contract

Sprint yesterday announced that the state of Georgia has awarded it with a one-year contract to provide wireless voice and data services to state and local agencies. Wireless data services available under the contract include Sprint PCS Business Connection Enterprise Edition, which lets users access agency e-mail via web-enable phones, smart devices and laptops anywhere on Sprint’s nationwide wireless network. In addition, the contract makes available Sprint PCS Ready Link, a nationwide push-to-talk service.
