Northrop tests wideband-networking waveform

Northrop Grumman completed the 12th test flight of its enhanced wideband networking waveform, a high-data-rate Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (COFDM) digital waveform developed for Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) applications for the Department of Defense. The company tested its upgraded software and software-defined radios to demonstrate airborne, network waveform capabilities.
