Predicting radio channel capacity

Use patterns in a conventional two-way system affect channel capacity, which can be predicted using a voice message analogy similar to a data packet. User effects can then be modeled with an adaptive user-protocol concept. Individuals involved in the design and support of conventional two-way radio systems may have asked themselves at one time or another, "What is the real capacity of this single radio channel anyway?"
